communication strategy for xxx

xxx as a new organization is expected to be the coordinator in the fight to eradicate illegal fishing, maintain security at sea and in the promotion of fisheries, tourism, while promoting sustainable management of the environment and natural resources for the benefit of nation.

in the era of so called free media in Indonesia, communication strategy is essential. One of the communication strategy aims is to increase visibility and transparency of the good work being done. The office is in dire need to have dedicated staff to help achieve its goals, dedicated specialists in media outreach at national level are required to increase visibility in national vernacular media..and beyond.

Specifically and in line with the organization communication policies and plans, the strategy will consist of:

1. Design and implement a communication work plan in support of the agreed country programming framework (RPJMN), regional objectives (ASEAN and the pacific) and the United Nations;

2. Support public communication activities by preparing talking points, arranging photo coverage, drafting press releases and disseminating news through press contacts, management of interviews and/or press conferences;

3. Proactively seek out good beneficiary feature story possibilities for TV and Print Journalists, based upon the good practices of xxx work;

4. Maintain regular consultation on outreach activities with coordinated communication officer (KKP, ESDM, Perhubungan);

5. Prepare and submit articles about the ministry’s projects in the country for publication;

6. Support the strengthening of xxx media relations and public visibility as well as xxx relations with other multilateral, national partners;

7. create or improve a national media database;

8. Increase the number of good photo from the work and submit them in internal gallery, web and social media;

9. Update the website with the press releases generated by coordinated offices and other relevant information such as events, projects, agendas, etc;

10. Track and log all media reports;

11. Identify training requirements in communication and develop and implement a training programme for the staff to support the sustainability of the communication initiatives;

12. Other required activities in order to fulfill the visibility objectives as requested.
